Board Decisions

Search Board decisions by year since 1974 in appeals from DAB ALJ decisions and disputes in HHS programs, including grant disallowances and terminations. Board decisions may contain links to web pages that are now obsolete. Current versions of some of these documents can be accessed elsewhere in the DAB section or other HHS subsites. Please note that individuals excluded from Medicare and state health care programs may have been subsequently reinstated. See 42 C.F.R. 1004.130. Information concerning an individual's current status can be obtained from the Office of the Inspector General.

Due to a technical issue, certain Board decisions posted to this website from the years 1982 through 2000 may be missing footnotes. To confirm a posted decision is complete, or to obtain a full copy of any affected Board decision, you may contact the Appellate Division at [email protected] or (202) 565-0208.

Or, browse Board Decisions listed by year. On the list of Board decisions for selected years, an asterisk (*) at the end of the link to a decision indicates that the decision was appealed and a federal court decision was issued.
