Educational Workshops

OHRP collaborates with institutions to co-sponsor a variety of workshops catering to the roles and responsibilities of researchers, institutional review boards (IRBs), institutional officials, and others to promote the protection of human subjects in research.

Workshops focus on topics relevant to the hosting institution, and expect an audience size of about 100 participants. Workshops combine didactic instruction and engaging interactions to help participants appreciate how to interpret and apply the U.S. federal regulations and policies on human research protections.

For more information, see the Federal Register Notice announcing the opportunity to co-sponsor an Educational Workshop with OHRP.
