The 49th meeting of the ACBTSA was held on September 13, 2018, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM EDT at the Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport, 1999 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA 22202. The theme of this meeting was defining a tolerable infectious disease risk in blood safety from a patient’s perspective and will focus on ground work for a subsequent substantive discussion at a future ACBTSA.
