A Virtual Partnering Platform to Advance NIH-Funded Biomedical Technologies to the Marketplace
Testing a platform to better connect SBIR awardees with potential investors
Executive Summary
Few SBIR awardees could advance their product to clinical use with federal-funding alone. However, finding interested investors or partners can be challenging. Likewise, investor/partner organizations are keen to learn about new products and technologies being developed by SBIR awardees. We propose the development of a virtual partnering platform to improve the efficiency of NHLBI/OTAC’s partnering efforts.
