Acquisition Alert to All HHS Contractors
On September 9, 2021, President Biden signed Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors. This Executive Order directs executive departments and agencies to ensure that contracts and contract-like instruments covered by the order include a clause requiring the contractor, and their subcontractors at any tier, to comply with all guidance for contractor or subcontractor workplace locations published on the Safer Federal Workforce site for the duration of the contract.
To help the contractor community understand the requirements of this Executive Order and how it applies to them, Katrina Brisbon, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisitions and Senior Procurement Executive for the Department of Health and Human Services, is conducting and industry outreach session:

Information for Getting to Meetings at HHS
Location: See our map to HHS.
Parking: Parking is not available at the HHS building, but there are several parking lots near to the building.
Ground Transportation and Metrorail Instructions:
The nearest cross street is 3rd St, SW and Independence Ave, SW. Use the Independence Ave entrance to the building.
By Metro: The closest Metro stop to HHS is Federal Center SW (Blue, Orange and Silver Line) Station. When you exit the Federal Center SW turn left and walk towards Independence Avenue. Visitors must enter the Independence Avenue entrance.
Once in the building: Report to the Security Station and provide ID. An OSDBU employee will be available to escort you to the conference room 800 located in the Penthouse.
