Behavioral Health Services Director, Acting Director, Environmental, Health, and Safety Services (EHSS)

Bradley Christ serves as the Director of Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and as Acting Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety Services (EHHS) at Federal Occupational Health (FOH), a component of the Program Support Center (PSC) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

As Director of Behavioral Health Services (BHS), Brad is responsible for managing and providing the PSC team with the resources necessary to support customer agencies with a variety of occupational health services.

These services include the Employee Assistance Program and the WorkLife Program. The services are provided for federal employees and agencies throughout the United States and United States Territories.

Bradley also serves as the Acting Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety Services. In this capacity, Brad is responsible for managing and providing the PSC team with the resources necessary to support customer agencies with a variety of occupational health services.

These services include industrial hygiene evaluations, indoor air quality assessments, environmental assessments, ergonomic surveys, respiratory protection, sample collection and laboratory analysis, asbestos and lead management, occupational safety and health training, safety and regulatory compliance, food sanitation inspections, and environmental management systems. The services are provided for federal employees and agencies throughout the United States and United States Territories.

Prior to joining FOH in 1999, Bradley worked as a commercial diver and a diver-medic on the oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. He then worked for several environmental and safety consulting companies in and around the Washington DC area. He enjoys the challenges that PSC faces in working on a fee-for-service basis and competing against commercial consultants. He is proud to support the FOH mission and strives to provide quality services to federal agencies.

Bradley is a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Maryland and an Associate of Science degree in Underwater Technology from Florida Institute of Technology.
