Quincy Byrdsong, EdD, CIP, CCRP, Vice Provost for Health Affairs, Lipscomb University and Martha Jones, MA, CIP, Vice President, Human Research Affairs, Mass General Brigham discussed how the IRB review process can incorporate concrete expectations for promoting equity and justice and offered practical solutions that can be implemented within the HRPP offices to ensure excellence in human subjects research.
