The ACBTSA met on November 28-29, 2016, to receive a presentation from the RAND Corporation on the HHS sponsored study, “Toward a Sustainable Blood Supply in the United States: An Analysis of the Current System and Alternatives for the Future,” covering RAND’s research, findings, outlook and recommendations. Time was scheduled for the ACBTSA to discuss the study report and to develop appropriate recommendations for HHS consideration.
