Childcare and Parenting

Balancing the demands of work and family can add stress to a team member's life. Federal Occupational Health (FOH) offers a work/life balance program, WorkLife4You, that can help your employees find support to help better manage the different areas of their lives.

"Without your service, I would have agonized over finding day care for my infant and I probably would not have gone back to work!"

Variety of Childcare Offerings

Childcare specialists offer federal employees and family members 24-hour support — by phone or online — in finding trusted local childcare resources, including day care, summer camp, after-school programs, and tutoring. They can also help employees find supportive services for children with special needs and consult on parenting issues ranging from adoption to parenting children of all ages. Our add-on emergency backup care services are especially valuable because we can help employees find and pay for temporary child care when a family's regular care plans are disrupted — even at the last minute.

Convenient and Confidential Access by Phone or Online

Employees and their family members can contact us and immediately speak with a professional. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and additional self-service tools and information can be found online on our interactive website.

Services are confidential, except in areas where disclosure is required by law, generally when there is a safety concern. Services are voluntary and are offered as a free agency benefit.

FOH's WorkLife4You program help employees and their family members better manage life's challenges by offering resources and solutions to help them achieve balance at work and at home.
