Tanette Downs

Operations Management Director

Tanette Downs has served as the Director for Operations and Management at Federal Occupational Health (FOH) since March 2020. In this role, Ms. Downs is responsible for mission support services including budget, human resources, customer service, procurement and logistics and information technology.

Ms. Downs has more than 20 years of Federal management experience. Her background includes financial management, auditing, oversight and compliance, and program management.

Prior to joining FOH, Ms. Downs served as the Program Budget Director for Rural Development at the United States Department of Agriculture. Ms. Downs also held several other leadership roles within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that include Deputy Director, Office of Adolescent Health in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) and Deputy Director, Investigations and Audits Group, Director, Division of Plan Oversight and Accountability, Director, Division of Capitated Plan Audits, and Director, Division of Finance and Benefits at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Ms. Downs is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Master of Business Administration degree Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting for Morgan State University.
