The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Population Affairs announced three new Embryo Donation and/or Adoption awards totaling $681,000. These projects will enable the funded organizations to provide services (e.g., counseling) that facilitate embryo donation/adoption as well as increase public awareness about embryo donation/adoption as a family-building option.
The Embryo Donation and/or Adoption grant awards listed below are based on the FY 2015 budget and provide funding for the first year of the grant that began July 15, 2015. Each grantee received approval for a project period of up to two years (contingent upon the availability of funds, satisfactory progress of the project and adequate stewardship of Federal funds).
