Learn About the ReImagine Data Insights Initiative at the 2020 Health Datapalooza!

The 2020 Annual Health Datapalooza, powered by HHS and AcademyHealth, will be held on February 10^th and 11^th at The Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C. The event is a one-of-a kind conference, where both public and private sector experts gather to share the newest, most innovative, and effective uses of health data. At this year's conference, HHS will highlight one of its key projects, The ReImagine Data Insights Initiative (RDi²). RDi² is an effort pioneered by HHS, and driven from the Office of the Chief Technology Officer to change how agencies and offices within HHS share, integrate, analyze, and visualize data in alignment with the Federal Data Strategy Action Plan to better inform policy and evidence-based decision making.

Ultimately, RDi² will enable data-driven, innovative approaches to the nation's healthcare challenges while simultaneously protecting patient privacy and data security.

A key element of the initiative is Unifi, the data sharing platform that will centralize data from multiple sources and will let users request data, analyze, and then visualize it in meaningful and dynamic ways.

  Breakout Session – ReImagining Data
  Description: Kim Garriott, Project Executive with KSM Consulting for the ReImagine Data Insights Initiative (RDi²), will lead a breakout session that focuses on Unifi and the use cases that will be used as real life examples to help test and shape Unifi.
• Tuesday, February 11, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. EST
  ReImagining Data LIVE Lunchtime Session
  Description: HHS' Ed Simcox, Chief Technology Officer will introduce a 20-minute Unifi demonstration led by RDi² Project Executive, Kim Garriott. There will be also be time at the end of the session for Q&A.
