2020 National Vaccine Plan Request for Information

Summary:
HHS has released an RFI to solicit input from stakeholders on potential priorities, goals, and objectives for the new 2020 National Vaccine Plan.

Vaccines play an important role in providing protection against serious and sometimes deadly diseases, including hepatitis A and hepatitis B.

For nearly a decade the National Vaccine Plan (NVP) has served as the nation’s leading roadmap for enhancing all aspects of the U.S. vaccine and immunization system. To ensure the NVP remains nimble to the evolving vaccine and immunization landscape, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is leading the development of the 2020 National Vaccine Plan. The updated plan will reflect immunization across the lifespan and guide priority actions for the period 2020-2025.

As part of that process, the HHS Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit input from subject matter experts and non-federal stakeholders on potential priorities, goals, and objectives for the plan.

To view the RFI and submit comments, visit federalregister.gov.

Comments are due no later than 5:00 p.m., Eastern on October 24, 2019.
