Vaccines and Immunizations

The Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy (OIDP) oversees the National Vaccine Program which provides strategic leadership and coordination of vaccine and immunization activities among federal agencies and other stakeholders whose mandate is to help reduce the burden of preventable infectious disease. This portfolio includes the National Vaccine Plan and National Vaccine Advisory Committee.
