Addressing the Unique Needs of Black Women with HIV

- In recognition of the 2021 observance of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, HRSA's Office of Women's Health partnered with HAB to host a panel discussion on the special vulnerabilities and hidden drivers behind higher HIV rates among Black women. The panel highlighted data and findings from a HAB Technical Expert Panel focused on improving HIV prevention and treatment services for Black women, shared stories from the perspective of the lived experience, and discussed HRSA-funded interventions for Black women with HIV.
